Holika Holika: Skin & Good Cera Super Cream Original Review

I was on a mission to find the best hydrating moisturizer and that was when I stumbled upon this magnificent beauty.

I first discovered the Holika Skin & Good Cera Super Cream on /r/asianbeauty and read great things about it in the comments. Those with super dry skin, preached that it helped alleviate their flaky, itchy skins where no other hydrating moisturizers could penetrate.

I was sold.

Holika Holika Skin and Good Cera Super Cream Original Yuzuchi

This Holika super cream is a savior. After applying in the morning, it stayed on my skin throughout a full workday. And although I have a huge habit of touching my nose and chin, the cream stayed put and kept my face completely moisturized and itch-free!

This moisturizer is magical and I have no idea what I have been doing without it.

Ingredient Highlights

Ceramides: This ingredient is well known for playing an essential role in structuring and maintaining the water permeability barrier function of the skin. It is found in most highly rated moisturizers.

Sodium Hyaluronate: This amazing ingredient is what makes this moisturizer oh, so hydrating. This molecule is known to absorb and store moisture in enormous quantities. When applied topically to the skin it can reach deep down into the dermis to combine with, maintain, and attract water—helping your skin absorb water more effectively and help reduce trans-epidermal water loss.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil: Unfortunately, this ingredient is very comedogenic, meaning that it has a tendency to cause blackheads by blocking the pores of the skin. If your skin is very sensitive to oils, it’s best to spot test with a sample first.

Rating: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This product is a must-have for those with super dry skin or it can be used as a backup for those oh-so-dry winter months! It absorbs into your skin and keeps your face/body hydrated throughout the entire day.
